General Overview:
Neomi is a very by the book person. Only because living like that gives structure to her life, something she very much needs. Deep inside she is very insecure, but she will never let anyone notice. She has built a shield around her all these years. Her insecurity is the product of a very dominant mother and a soft father. Being raised most of the time by her father (because of the dangers of her mothers work) she developed her character. Going to the Academy was a way for Neomi to get loose from her mother's grasp, and there she developed her shield, so no one would be able to rule over her the way her mother did.

Bio & History:
Neomi was the only child of Alexana Devos and Jemes Verrill. Due to the nature of her mother's job, Head of the Rutian Police, she travelled a lot with her father, an archaeologist, during the Civil War with the Ansata.
After the war she returned to Rutia IV.
At the age of 18 she joined Starfleet and graduated 4 years later, specialized in the tactical field. Served on several Federation vessels. For the two years she is working for Starfleet Research and Development with the designing and construction of the Rebellious. After its decommissioning only a year later she got offered a position at Starfleet Security as an adviser.
