We have arrived in the Alpha Pelosiae system. Orbiting AP-3 we find a severely damaged Orion freighter.

- damage is from modified mining drills/lasers.

- an escape pod contains on faint lifesign (an Orion male)

1. beam patient to Sickbay so doctors can treat him.

2. a piece of hull so that engineers can examine it.

3. Geologist/Science officer can launch probe into the atmosphere of the gas giant.
